A vocoder is an audio processor that captures the characteristic elements of an an audio signal and affects other audio signals with this characteristic signal. This Node implements such an effect.
Inputs
Modulator Input
The modulator input, used as the modulator signal.
Carrier Input
The main audio input, used as the carrier signal.
Mix-Control Input
Control input used to automate the Mix setting, from 0 to 1. This input can be toggled from the Node settings panel.
Settings
Amount
Effect amount, 0 means full-dry, 1 means full-wet.
Modulator gain
Sets the gain level of the modulator signal.
Modulator boost
Convenience setting to further amplify modulator gain.
Bandwidth
Sets the bandwidth of the internal bandpass filters used to filter the carrier signal.
Note: greater values can yield better results, but are more computationally expensive.
Outputs
Audio Output
The audio line with the effect applied.
