Sequencer Trigger Node

πŸ”§ Experimental

Introducing a pattern-based grid sequencer, perfect for quickly creating repeating drum loops and simple melodies. This sequencer begins its internal sequence upon receiving a trigger note event through its Melody Input, and restarts the sequence with each new note event. For audio output, connect it to a Sampler Node, Oscillator Node, or Noise Generator Node.

Inputs

Melody Input

Trigger input to receive notes.

Settings

Number of steps

Specifies the number of steps in the pattern.

Step length

Determines the duration of a single step in beats. The custom step length option is available with an AudioNodes HD subscription.

Pitch

Sets the pitch of each note in the output.

Velocity

β˜… With AudioNodes HD

The velocity of each note in the output. When velocity mode is set to Step by step, sequential value editor does become visible.

Override pitch

β˜… With AudioNodes HD

When enabled, sequence note’s pitch will be the pre-defined one, not what comes from the triggering note.

Override velocity

β˜… With AudioNodes HD

When enabled, sequence note’s velocity will be the pre-defined one, not what comes from the triggering note.

Loop

β˜… With AudioNodes HD

When enabled, sequence does not end when out of steps, it restarts and plays until the triggering note goes silent.

Outputs

Melody Output

The generated Melody.

Node conversions

β˜… With AudioNodes HD

Node conversion is available from the node menu.

Convert to: Sequencer Node

Transfers all steps (notes) into the Sequencer along with node state properties like pitch, velocity, etc. No timeline clips migrated because the current node does not have them.
