Feedback Visualizer Node

Creates a decorative, customizable, real-time visualizer composed of a series of expanding circles, where visualization spreads outwards. This is ideal for visualizing and decorating delay-based effects, especially feedback-delay.

Beyond visualization, the Feedback Visualizer Node doesn’t do anything else.

Inputs

Audio Input

An audio or control signal to analyze.

When you use the Feedback Visualizer Node to visualize a feedback delay-based effect, for best results, you typically want to connect the end result of your effect to this input, or the “wet” part of your effect, if you implement dry/wet mix control.

Delay Time Input

A control signal to control the Delay setting. Value is in seconds.

When you use the Feedback Visualizer Node to visualize a feedback delay-based effect, you typically want to use the same delay time value for this input as the actual delay involved.

This input is initially hidden. You can toggle it from Node properties, or by connecting to it.

Settings

Delay

Sets how long it takes for visualization to reach the outermost circle.

Stages

Sets the number of circles.

Radius

Sets the inmost and outermost circle radius. The rest of the circles are spread evenly between them, based on the Stages setting.

Line Dash

A comma separated list of values to add visual dashes. For example, a value of “2, 2” (without quotes) creates a visualization where lines alternative between evenly spaced fills and skips.

Theme

Sets the appearance color

Offset

A pixel offset for rotating circles. The effect of this setting is only visible if the Line Dash setting is used.

Line Width

Sets the width of each circle, in pixels.
