Sometimes audio does not get received or sent by AudioNodes when using an audio interface, despite it is selected as an audio input/output device.
Possible workarounds:
Set up an aggregated device
First, follow steps by Apple: you may create an aggregate device (in other words, a virtual audio interface) that includes you interface’s inputs and outputs; then use this aggregated device as your audio interface within AudioNodes.
Check permissions
Go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy and check that Microphone permissions for AudioNodes are granted, as this can affect audio input routing.
+1: Sample Rate Mismatch
There might be a mismatch in sample rates between your interface and what AudioNodes is expecting. Ensure that the sample rate in Audio MIDI Setup matches what you’re using in AudioNodes (e.g., 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz).
